Studio Offering

• Students are scheduled for 40 private lessons each calendar year. When a student joins the studio their calendar begins.

• Throughout the year, students have the opportunity to participate in a group class that gives them valuable opportunities to perform and learn alongside their studio mates. I also host masterclasses with distinguished guest artists, designed to inspire students and give them extra chances to perform the pieces they’re preparing. Masterclasses and group classes take place on Saturday mornings.

• At the end of each semester students have the opportunity to participate in a formal recital with professional accompaniment.

• Each student receives a personalized lesson notebook to help keep track of personal practice and what is discussed in the lesson.

Student Portal

Each student has their own personal portal page and log in.

In the Student Portal, students receive access to:

• Helpful practice audio tracks

• PDF’s of their music

• Helpful practicing tips and tricks.

• Lesson tracker so that students and families can see future lesson dates and when lessons have taken place.

Private lessons strike a healthy balance between building strong technique and applying those skills through carefully selected musical pieces, helping each student grow into a confident, well-rounded musician. Beginning students receive a copy of my book, “Introduction to the Violin” or “Introduction to the Viola,” which lays a strong foundation for learning to play the Violin or Viola and read music.

At the end of each semester, students have the chance to shine in a recital, celebrating their progress and sharing their hard work with family and friends!
